Dr. Ginger Morrissey is one of Charlotte’s leading physical therapists, helping active adults get back to working out, running, playing tennis and golf without pain or leaking.
Education
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2021. Ginger is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, a national organization with only 2,500 Fellows across the country. AAOMPT Fellows provide the highest level of musculoskeletal care through advanced manual therapy. In 2014, she completed her Trigger Point Dry Needling certification from Myopain Seminars, allowing her to provide more thorough and efficient treatment of muscles and fascia, addressing the root cause of pain. Ginger also received specialized training in both men’s and women’s pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, equipping her to treat a wide range of pelvic floor dysfunctions with a comprehensive and evidence-based approach. She originally graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
Professional Background
Ginger founded Pin Point Physical Therapy, LLC in 2018 to create a physical therapy clinic devoted to providing the highest quality healthcare, with a strong focus on patient care and achieving faster, better outcomes. Earlier in her career, she worked at multiple highly regarded orthopedic practices—both as a physical therapist and clinic manager. In addition to her expertise in orthopedic manual therapy, Ginger has advanced training in men’s and women’s pelvic health through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, allowing her to provide specialized care for pelvic floor dysfunction. She is also an assistant instructor for Myopain Seminars in their Dry Needling Series.
